Object Detector uses state-of-the-art RF-DETR and YOLOX neural networks to detect up to 80 everyday objects in real time, directly on your iPhone. No internet connection needed for detection. No data ever leaves your device.
How it works :
Point your camera at any scene and the app immediately draws labeled bounding boxes around every detected object — people, vehicles, animals, furniture, food, electronics, and more. Each box shows the object's name and detection confidence. The entire inference pipeline runs on-device using Apple's CoreAI framework.
Choose your model. Four RF-DETR model sizes let you balance speed against accuracy:
• Nano — fastest, great for everyday use
• Small — balanced speed and detail
• Medium — higher accuracy for complex scenes
• Large — maximum accuracy
• YOLOX-S — alternative architecture, fast and accurate
Models are downloaded once and stored on your device. No repeated downloads.
Filter what you want to see :
Choose exactly which of the 80 COCO object categories you want to track. Hide clutter, focus on what matters.
Adjustable confidence :
Slide the confidence threshold to control how certain the model must be before showing a detection. Reduce false positives or catch more objects.
