Turtle Beach Audio Hub 4+

Gone through 3 differnet headsets to try and get them updated and worked. Not once have I been able to complete the update. The support team is unable to do anything to help other than send me a new headset to continue this loop. Spent money on a brick so far and its more a less a software issue. Pathetic.

Both the iOS Mac app and the iOS iPhone app worked perfectly, once I realized I had to use my MacBook to do the actual updating. I had to connect both the USB Transmitter (with the switch in “USB” mode vs “XBox” mode) AND the Headset (using the USB power cord) each into different USB ports at the same time. After synching, the app told me that updates were available and I selected “Yes” to do the actual updates. After about 5 minutes, the update finished, and I noticed that the transmitter was updated to 4.0.9.0, but the headset had not (it was still at 4.0.8.0), so I selected “update” again. After another 3-5 minutes, the app indicated both the transmitter and the headset were updated to the same update #, and I was done. It all went very smooth. I love the app.

I understand people having problems and being unable to solve it and chat not being available from TB. With that said. once installed took maybe 5 minutes on my macbook to update both the switcher from the console and the headset. Connects to the iphone after update with no issues. Had a 'static' issue before update, was about to box it and return it, then remembered it probably has a firmware update needed. After update, static isssue went away. if issue occurs again i will return the product and update this review.
