Works good but stopped for a couple days then came back

It’s been a little back and forth but it seems to work well for the most part. The lack of a player leaves you to use your tv remote to fast forward rewind etc. this is not exactly obvious. Previously I left a poor review, as it stands it works better than that and deserves 4 of 5.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD WILL CHARGE AND DOES NOT WORK

Went to download this app thinking I could use the free trial as I have not tried this before on my Vizio TV and we currently have lost the remote. In the details it refers to in app purchases ( as in you’ll be able to purchase something after downloading ). They failed to mention - which is also false advertising - that when you download it will automatically charge you for the “free week trial”. I am only writing this review so that no one else falls into the trap. I would not be so frustrated if the app had actually worked but, it did not work at all and just took my money with no free trial. Even after going to cancel, it appears I can sign up for some premium offer for half the price? This doesn’t make any sense. I have never been so highly disappointed in an app. I guess shame on me for not reading the reviews as I usually do.

Scam. Do NOT download or launch!!

I was all ready to like this app based on reviews and it’s rank in the Apple Utilities list. On install, before I could do anything post-payment ($20 lifetime - foolish) a window popped up prompting me to download the free upgrade to the newest ver. Only it wasn’t free and I couldn’t restore my purchase to the newer renamed app called Cast. That one actually works, after paying another $20 one-time fee.
I’ll pursue a refund & complaint via Apple and the CA Better Business Bureau, since there’s no subscription to cancel and the Dev likes to quote Apple’s policy rather than espouse any consumer rights or ack of this versioning bait-and-switch.
Lame and uh, illegal, at least in CA.
Oh, and the contact us app at the Dev’s website in Vietnam is broken. No getting ahold of them, apparently.

DO NOT BUY

I really wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing this app. I opted for the one-time $20 subscription expecting the app to work as stated. It definitely did not. For one, when you broadcast from your phone to your tv, the quality on the tv is very poor. Second, I could never get the sound to come from the tv. It would only come from my phone. What’s the point of mirroring to the tv if you can hardly see the video and only hear it from the phone? I scoured the internet to see what I could do to fix it and found nothing. Please do not waste your time or money. I’ve submitted a request for a refund to Apple and I’m hoping it’s approved.

Photos

I was messing with photos & I was actually trying to get photos from a camera I haven’t used in a while! That hasn’t happened yet, but will shortly! The photos I did get, went from my phone, to the google Nest! I’m ready to play with all of the pieces & learn much more! All I’ve done so far, is simple things! I’m realizing there is so much more to learn & I can’t wait! Awesome!!

This app is complete garbage

Doesn’t work at all. Not even a little bit. Doesnt recognize my smart tv until i downloaded a tv cast app on the tv, then when i click broadcast it goes 3...2...1... and doesnt work says i was attempting an invalid broadcast then an error message shows my device cannot be connected to at this time. Shows my xbox 1 is available for casting and i click on it and it does nothing. This app is trash, no options in settings or otherwise other than to pay more money for a premium subscription for an app that doesnt work. Dont know how this got a high rating they must be stacking the ratings.

Tap View Apple ID when the pop-up window appears.
Enter your Apple ID password or fingerprint ID when prompted.
Tap Subscriptions.

No response from support

I purchased this app three weeks ago. After installing and trying to get it working for a few hours with my Samsung Smart TV. Unfortunately it never worked. I sent an email to the address for app support as indicated in the app and in this store. There was no reply. I forwarded the same email with added comments a few days later and still no reply. This was all done over two weeks ago now and there has never been any reply. I am cancelling this purchase now. The app did not work as described and the support contact never responded. I cannot recommend this app at all.

Ridiculous price

I’m not paying $20 for a service I haven’t even got to try to use. I can’t cast anything without getting a pop up for the premium service, and it won’t allow me to cast until I pay. I might be willing to pay if I got to try the service and see if I like it but I’m not going to fork over $20 to a company I don’t know for a service I can’t test to see if I like. Especially when other people are saying they’re having trouble getting their refund. Don’t waste time or money with this app, just find a different one.

Do not buy!

This app is useless. It doesn’t work on our Sony and Samsung TV. I wasted an entire day trying to figure this out. Save your $20 for something useful. I emailed their support for refund but they just replied on me on the same exact information on their “FAQ” to go to your subscription list on your Apple account. The problem is, the only thing listed there are those app that you can renew. I was already suspicious when I didn’t received an email about this purchase. The only place that I can see this was on my bank account!

It is not Free

I don’t even know if it works but I got connected to my TV. However, the next step takes you right away to their subscription page. Otherwise you cannot continue. Any services you clicked on takes you to the subscription fee with no choice but a Free 3 Day Trial after that you are charged weekly. It says you could mirror for free but it is limited per day without subscription. Not in this case, nothing works until you have either subscribed to the 3day trial or to the premium. Uninstalling...
