What’s New

Version 8.3.5

We're making some improvements to Twitter!

You've seen "This Tweet is unavailable" before. Now you'll know why.

We're adding the reason why a Tweet was hidden, e.g. if the Tweet has a muted word or if it's from a protected account, to the majority of unavailable Tweets.

We rely on Twitter to help us express our thoughts and keep up with the news. And with Twitter’s Apple TV app (our 2016 App of the Year), we’ve also got a bigger window into current events and topical discussions. From breaking-news tweets to live Periscope feeds—and even Thursday Night Football—the benefits of that little bird are always getting bigger.

Worst customer service ever

My original account was suspended for no reason. I tried appealing to get it back since I’ve had it since 2011. I couldn’t communicate with ANYONE about it. Waited a few weeks to get an email response where I was told I broke the rules, didn’t tell me what I supposedly did, and just said not to ask again about the account because it was not going to be monitored... I would’ve stopped using the app but it’s one of the only ways I have to communicate with some people. Twitter needs a call center to provide the help we all need... there was an option that said to contact them via twitter but if my account is suspended HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTACT YOU???? I used to love the app but that situation really made dislike it. I know it’s just social media and that the account really doesn’t mean much but I had so many people, tweets, conversations, pictures, etc. That I will never be able to recover because Twitter doesn’t want to take the time to listen to its users...
STILL VERY DISAPPOINTED ON YALL

Love Twitter

It is my only form of social media ... I love being anonymous and yet feeling a part of a like minded group ... you, at least for now, allow for personal opinion without retribution. I do not even mind some of the back talk and anger imposed ... that is a part of freedom that we still hold. The only thing I don’t like seeing all of the absolute hate that is in the world now.. I have watched it come for a very long time but it is escalating and it is sad to watch. It did not start with President Trump not even Obama but years ago. I would wish that people would still curtail their anger but they a bent on making it known. It makes all look immature but yet I feel they have not been taught any better. I look forward to reading all of the opinions none the less as it is America and we at least are still free for now and freedom of speech is a part of that and I am grateful for your still allowing that ! Thank you so much !
