Basic version of Two Player Chess. https://twoplayerchess.com Two Player Chess (2P Chess) turns your tablet or phone into a two-player chessboard for two humans to play face-to-face. One person can also play against the inbuilt AI. Improve your chess game by getting hints for the best moves in review mode. You can play offline as no internet connectivity or sign-up is required! In the real world, face-to-face chess works great with 3D pieces however in traditional 2D representations the pieces would be upside down for one player. Symmetrical chess piece designs and other innovations in 2P Chess mean it is now fun and easy for two people to use a tablet or phone to play and/or learn chess. 2P Chess provides an excellent tool for teaching chess as you can use a single tablet or phone device together and see legal moves highlighted. Two Player Chess requires no internet connectivity and no account so you can use all features from anywhere.

Two Player Chess v1.1.42 (build 151 - free/basic) https://twoplayerchess.com New features based on feedback via email (thank you!) - 60 minute timer option added - Infinite time added. This disables the timer. Note: it is also possible to use this with asymmetric timer mode so one player has a timer and the other does not.
