Ehhh
So even though I purchased this a month ago and still trying to figure things out with this app and just the camera alone is still quite tricky! Still have a lot of questions. But for now the app is a headache! I’m trying to be patient enough with it but it’s so difficult. 1. The app won’t work unless it is connected to WiFi. 2. Bluetooth won’t work on it even though I strongly believe it should be the other way around. [bluetooth connected]. 3. Like any other comments no live feed on screen while in use. It’s just completely black. 4. Recordings will be stopped if you look at history. (While in use) 5. Cannot access history unless it is connected to wifi and Bluetooth.
So overall it’s just a big headache.. still going to try to figure out just alone the camera itself but other than that I don’t want to deal with the app.
I hope you guys fix it cause it needs major work!!
App and Dashcam connection needs to be better
After playing around with this for an hour, I’ve had struggles. You must connect this app to the dashcam’s WiFi network to use it and you have stay in the app because the moment you go to a different app on your phone without closing it, you have to go back to your iPhone’s WiFi setting, connect to the dashcam WiFi again AND manually enter the password every time and then join it within the app which is frustrating and annoying.
To the developer: Please improvise this app where we do not have to do this manual process or at least have the app/dashcam WiFi to remember my password. We should not tolerate this redundancy just so we can get our recordings…
how to retrieve videos
How to transfer video from this camera into iPhone photos and elsewhere: (1) connect to its WiFi through settings (2) go into app “type s drive” allowing it to connect (3) go to desired video or content (4) tap download icon to store internally to app storage on phone (5) within “album” tap the “mobile” tab (6) within mobile tab tap the share icon that looks like three connected dots (7) if you wish to transfer content to a desktop computer, for example, place it on a cloud such as iCloud storage and then access this through the iCloud desktop app, again for example.
