Typelands is Scrabble meets Balatro — a word-building roguelite where every run reshapes how you score.
You start with a grid of letter tiles and a target to beat. Form words, rack up points, and clear encounters before your turns run out. Then the combos kick in.
Between encounters, you shape your build. Buy gems that reward long words, vowel-heavy plays, or exact letter counts. Upgrade individual tiles to boost their value permanently. A strong build turns ordinary words into extraordinary scores.
Each run remixes the challenge. Bosses add rules that bend how scoring works. Some encounters limit your turns or restrict certain letters. You adapt, or you lose.
Six sing tile bags, six different strategies. Go greedy with fewer words and better tiles. Build an engine around vowel synergies. Roll the dice on an equal mix of every rarity. The opening choice shapes everything that follows.
