Ratings and Reviews
What a Piece of Junk
The previous version was OK but this one is terrible. Without knowing how the incidents get placed on the map, I can only say PUT THEM ON. More than half of the time when I come across a crash, it’s not even on the map. I drive I-15 from Ogden to Spanish Fork twice a week and Ogden to Salt Lake every day. I see a lot of crashes and as I said, they aren’t even on the map. That’s if you can even see them on this new interface. Have you tried to play an incident alert. Maybe it’s just a setting on my phone, but it plays at a speed that I can’t even begin to understand(too fast). I don’t see any responses by the developer to these comments, so I have no idea if anyone is even reading them. I read a previous comment that said to make this so a kindergartner could use it. Most people use it while driving and this piece of garbage makes that even more dangerous than ever. Hopefully someone reads this comment.
Road work on Browse bridge
I have a question for you smart people. On one of the busiest weekends of the year in 104 degree weather the road crew decides to work on the underneath of the bridge? These people weren’t smart enough to put a cover to catch flying concrete fragments. There was approximately 30 people and their vehicles standing around and one guy using his hammer to brake concrete.
I wasn’t born yesterday but these people were idiots, no one should be braking concrete without some way to keep it from hitting vehicles, you don’t shut down the freeway on a holiday week day, since we’re talking about smarts what happens to a vehicle sitting on a highway running with surface temperatures of around 150 degrees these intelligent people can’t understand why people are parking on the road side? Vehicles along with people heat up.
You people need to work on your overpasses at night when traffic is at a minimum shut all but one lane down 20 miles back so that traffic can keep moving.
How much schooling does a person need to have common sense ? How much schooling does a worker need to cover up so that vehicles aren’t peppered with flying debris.
Impossible to use!
This app used to be relatively user-friendly. If I came across some traffic and I wanted to look at it really quick to see if I should detour or stay the course, I could open it and quickly see where I’m at, and I would very easily see yellow red green colors to help me make a quick decision. I could also easily click to open the camera view. The updates to this app have made it unusable. It opens me up to a giant map of the United States and I have to manually zoom in and figure out where I am at. I can’t even tell by looking at the app the traffic conditions. Any colors that were visible before are very hard to see within the app now because they blend in too closely with the lines representing streets. I finally figured out how to hide nearly all of the things you now want to try and display to me that are pointless. How much clutter can you put on one map??
