In this breaking down world quality still works best!

The service I get out of these speakers is over the top. I hope they don’t fall to doing sloppy work at some point to ride on the doors of quality and benefit from the high profit of cutting back on the quality for most manufacturers have done that over the decadesfor now amazing I drive these things sometimes daily all day long outdoors as I live outdoors through storms, cold, lightning, the music ROCKS ON !

Connection issues

First off I want to say that when the app is working as intended it is amazing! No noticeable lag through any of the speakers. However I do experience more connectivity issues with my IPad over my Samsung Phone. The speaker that’s directly connected by Bluetooth doesn’t experience issues. However the other speakers will experience an intermittent signal drop that lasts less than a second and reconnects. I have re downloaded the app on both devices and tried to check for updates on the speakers and the devices. When i do delete and redownload the app it will work fine for a little bit (no longer than a couple hours at the longest) and start having signal drop again. I live in an apartment so none of the speakers are more than 10 feet from either device being used.

Oh, this app….

We do like our UE Boom speakers and we’ve had them for years but we constantly struggle with the app. Often for no reason we can’t connect certain devices to the speakers (my iPhone has the worst time of it, while our iPad and my husband’s phone seem to be able to connect more often — no idea why), or the speakers randomly get disconnected on their own — sometimes multiple attempts are needed to connect to a device and on the 15th try a message pops up that says something like ‘do you want me to DISCONNECT from the speaker you’re already connected to?’ at which point you realize that you actually finally connected on the 14th attempt and it seems like the app just gaslit you on that 15th try as if you had been connected all along. Again, we do like the speakers but the app could really use some work.
