This app requires Mac ULCode running on the same Wi-Fi network. ULCode Remote is a companion app for iPhone and iPad that connects to that Mac ULCode (called your "mothership" in the app). On Apple silicon Macs, it runs unmodified as an iPad app.
Check on AI coding sessions running on your mothership, reply to them, and send new instructions while you are away from your desk or moving around the room. Code execution and file editing happen only on the mothership; this app never runs code or edits files.
Key features:
- Pair by scanning a QR code shown on the mothership. The connection is saved securely in the Keychain. Manual entry is also supported.
- Discover motherships on the same Wi-Fi automatically with Bonjour, and switch between them. Register more than one, for example home and office.
- See sessions waiting for a reply across all sheets in one list at the top, with the question and choices visible at a glance. Answer with a single tap.
- Speak instead of typing. Your words become text and are sent as an instruction or a reply, useful when your hands are busy or typing is inconvenient.
- While the app is open, sessions that start waiting for a reply trigger haptics and a notification. Additional settings for alerts while away from the mothership live in ULCode on the Mac.
- Open a recent project from a list, or create a new one by naming it and choosing whether to run git init.
- Try "Watch Demo" before pairing to see the full app with sample data, without any network connection.
Data stored is minimal. The mothership's address and display name are kept in UserDefaults on your device, and the connection token is kept in the Keychain. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers, and this app never contacts any third-party server on the internet. The only destination for your data is the mothership you register yourself.
No ads, no usage analytics, and no tracking.
