Wonderfully built game with 1 needed tweak

This game is wonderfully built and balanced. It offers a realistic challenge so that the game lasts more than just an afternoon and then you get bored because you’ve dominated the league right away and every year after. It scratches the itch of wanting a realistic basketball team managing experience.

This game is one step away from being the total perfect package. There is solid customization available outside of the in season games, but if we were given the opportunity to make substitutions in-game, call time outs and call a “set play” where it really just boosts a chance to score depending on your coaches’ ratings, or double team a hot player on the opposing team. Things to give more of a chance to lead your team in each game would be perfect.

My only other recommendation would be for team chemistry. Team chemistry is 100% based off of player style and coach’s style. I think this is realistic to a degree. We see players not fit a system in the NBA and struggle, but time played together on the court should increase chemistry slightly IMO. Maybe 75% style and 25% time played together. Time played on the team should also increase system familiarity and reduce TP cost to switch player style IMO. Just a touch more realism I think. Overall, a wonderful game that I love spending time in.

Great Game but a few minor issues

Hey! I been playing the game around a month and loved playing it. Over the game a few issues have been with me. First, I feel like that every 7-9 years, a BLTV deal would happen giving A. higher cap and B. more finance just like in real life such as in 2016 in the real NBA. I also feel that the cap should just go 5% (inflation) every year and that players will also scale their salaries with that. I wish that injuries weren't happening every 72 seconds even when my facility is around 4-6 with players that have a high injury resistance. I'm thinking that some teams depending on location should start with a higher cap and better reputation in the base game (no premium) as example on how an LA team has the same ability to get players and have cap to a Baltimore team, If we're playing legend mode the game difficulty would remove some teams for obvious reasons. This game is great but these issues (as a f2p player) would be great for this game.

All Grind w/ no Microtransactions

It’s as simple as this, it’ll take you about 5 years to get off your feet, and by “off your feet” I mean getting swept in the first round of the playoffs. Know that every other team has a different MUCH HIGHER salary cap than you do yourself. Lemme explain. Your cap space in the free version MAXES at $100M regardless of how well you do or how much you upgrade your GM. You have 100M and that’s all. This makes it challenging to even have a full roster of 12-15 players if more than one of them are off their rookie contract because they all expect to go from either 6M to 15M or 1M to 5M when their point production and overall development do want mirror the payouts they want. This wouldn’t be bad if EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE LEAGUE DIDNT HAVE OVER $100M more of salary cap! One of the worst teams in my league (they just drafted #2 overall) had 3 5 star PGs 2 getting paid 17M as well as 9 CENTERS 2 getting paid near 10M EACH. They also had ATLEAST 5 players PER POSITION. Meanwhile, when one of my starters get injured, I’m lucky if I have enough salary cap to sign a bummy 68 OVR free agent to a roster that doesn’t have anyone over 85OVR….in year 6. So many balancing issues need to be addressed. Glad I didn’t spend my money on this random numbers generator.
