You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal can be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase.

Great insights

As someone with a hacking mindset, I have had different certain approaches when it so comes to diet and workouts. With the sensor and the Ultrahuman app, this takes it to a new level - great actionable insights.
I have just started my journey and now learning more about myself for the next few weeks - will be applying corrective measures and quite excited to see how effective it is.
Am rating a 4 only for the reason the app has scope to grow on the analytics side.

Promising but not there yet

I was excited about the ring, so I pre ordered it. Arrived close to when promised but never lived up to their hype. Battery life was around 4 days but it stopped recording much of the data if it was below 30% charge which was 2-3 days. Much of the data wasn’t particularly accurate but that slightly improved once I switched to a different finger with a tight fit. This is also an issue as their largest size is a 12 and I have large hands.

My biggest complaint is that it only worked a few months before it suddenly stopped charging. Coincidentally it was about a week after they announced the new one when the old one wasn’t even out for a year. Support was difficult to deal with and was sometimes only available on India time. After going back and forth with them over 5 days sending screen shots and trying different charge blocks I finally gave up.

Update. They are sending a new version of the ring so I’ll update later based on that.

Not bad but a few things needed.

First - give me the ability to turn off the O2 sensor. I don’t need it and I am sure it will save battery.

Second - on the battery I go through about 40% battery in a day. Not sure why but it first suggestion could help.

Third - This is my biggest one. The movement index seems to depend only on steps. The second day I had the ring it prompted me as I was getting off the bike after 45 miles in two hours that I needed to get moving. Maybe if it wasn’t winter and I was riding outside this would not be the case. Outside you do stop at lights and stop signs so that probably would have added some steps. Inside on the trainer I start up Zwift and just hammer it with no breaks for two hows so no steps. The crazy thing is the software did pull the ride from Apple Health so it knew I had done the ride.
