Ratings and Reviews
This keyboard is great!
I found this keyboard app searching for a wingdings keyboard. This keyboard app is great and simple. The basic latin text is too big (if you couldn't tell). I woud also like all of the wingdings symbols. Though I haven't checked through all of them, I do know B is missing. I love the keyboard though. Even if I can't really use it while the letters are too big. There also is no keyboard down button.
Finally!
I have been searching FAR AND WIDE for a unicode keyboard that allows access to all the symbols without any extra charge and without ads. I don’t know how this one escaped me for so long, but i’m incredibly excited to start using it, specifically its ⠃⠗⠁⠊⠇⠇⠑ pattens! It really should be marked somehow so that people looking for a braille keyboard find it, because that’s what i’ve been looking for and this seems to be the only quality and free way to do it without voiceover. Thanks very much and hopefully it stays free and convenient so that this review stays relevant. Great work, and hopefully this app can stay this good EVEN WHEN it gains popularity. thanks!
Defies Apples Key layout making it irritating
07 Feb 2024
The Uni Keyboards is very functional EXCEPT the developers choose to defy Apple and other’s keyboard layout putting the key to switch through keyboards on the top right corner of their keyboard instead of the lower left like Apple and everyone else does which leads to issues of having to find the key in an abnormal position and essentially defies UI/UX because the key isn’t in the right place to enable cycling through all keyboards. If you wanted to differentiate yourselves from everyone else, then you did that dammit ….
Now put it back where it belongs!
The character sets are now up to date with Unicode standards. Example, Creative Commons symbols adopted in 2022. I am sure that Apple is also equally behind as well and CC members are clamoring especially in light of the latest federal decisions on copyrights.
