We believe that every student is a “seedling”, full of life and potential, ready to grow and thrive. But a single seedling alone can't create shade. Only together, when we join hands and support one another, can we grow an “entire forest” - a symbol of collective strength and a shared commitment to a sustainable future.
That’s why UniTree: Sprout to Forest was born.
UniTree is a mobile application that aims to raise environmental awareness and enhance campus engagement at Greenwich Vietnam, Hanoi Campus. The application rewards students for being on campus by tracking their WiFi connection and converting connection time into points. These points can be exchanged for planting real trees.
UniTree: Sprout to Forest is the first green project developed by students at Greenwich Vietnam – Hanoi campus, in collaboration with the Greenity Environmental Club and the IT Club. This initiative brings technology into environmental action, focusing on reforesting barren hills while aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 13 - “Climate Action”.
By joining UniTree, students don’t just plant trees, they gain so much more:
