Description

Unity Client is a next generation network-based full-duplex intercom system that is incredibly simple to use, yet is as powerful as traditional systems costing many times more! Unity Client works in conjunction with the Unity Intercom Server, available from www.unityintercom.com.

The Unity Intercom system can be used for a variety of applications
• Multi-camera live video production (including Tally!)
• Fleet/delivery management
• Hotel staff
• Hospitality personnel
• Construction/installation crews
• And many, many more

Works over any IP based network
• Unity Client works using either Wi-Fi or direct ethernet connections. Users can be within the same network as the Unity server, or located around the world communicating over the internet.

External program feed
• Unity server comes with a built-in, sample program feed, but can be upgraded for a custom program feed.

Supports up to 6 channels and 58 users
• Users can be restricted to access any or all of the 6 channels for talk/listen, listen only, or no access.
• Additional users can be purchased, up to a total of 58 simultaneous users on the Unity system.

Private user-to-user communications
• You can communicate with any active Unity user directly in a private communication session. No other users can hear the conversation.

Push notifications
• Push-notify offline users to tell them to join a Unity conversation. Acknowledging the notification starts Unity automatically.

Integrates with external audio I/O
• Upgrade Unity Server to allow audio to be routed to and from an external Com system, effectively creating wireless com stations that work with a traditional hard-wired intercom over any existing network.

External tally support
• The Unity server can be upgraded to accept tally information from a variety of video switching systems, and can send this information to remote Unity app users. Both the Unity Mac Client and Unity iOS devices become actual tally lights, showing both preview and on-air talent tally functionality.
• Great for production environments!

Love the system but why were sizing options removed?

I've been using unity for about 1 year for our production and its been great for the most part. My gripe with the most recent major update was that the size of the app on Mac can't really be adjusted. We could see information and have it small in the corner and now all of our productions teams only really have the option to just have it covered because its to stinkin huge. Sizing used to be an option so what happened? Also I would think individual channel volumes on the client app would make sense for alot of reasons.

Let me adjust volume on ALL

I've been using this app weekly for almost 4years. I've bore witness to nearly all the updates. My #1 request STILL remains: let me adjust the volume on all my channels seperately. I don't want someone else adjusting them. I have multiple conversations happening via this app in my ears and it would allow me to better preform my job if I had more autonomy of volume levels. ALSO: please give the mobile app the same ability to increase the audio buffer greater than 500ms. XO #teamsparkles

Huge window covers screen

The option to have a small floating widget is gone, and you're now stuck with a huge window and you cannot make it smaller. It will block all of your content if you keep the window on top.
