Great, but missing features make a difference

I’ve listened to Unshackled since I was a child, and have always enjoyed the stories. I was thrilled when I discovered the app several years ago and have enjoyed using it up to now. The stories are still amazing, but, not that there is no “background play,” I am prone to accidentally tap a different program. What I was listening to begins again, rather than starting where I left off. I also liked the option to adjust the playback speed.

I’ve listened to Unshackled since I was a child, and have always enjoyed the stories. I was thrilled when I discovered the app several years ago and have enjoyed using it up to now. The stories are still amazing, but, not that there is no “background play,” I am prone to accidentally tap a different program. What I was listening to begins again, rather than starting where I left off. I also liked the option to adjust the playback speed.

One of my favorite programs that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to after I accepted Christ as my Saviour! I was young and struggled in the beginning to comprehend & fully understand God’s love for us and to believe that our sins are truly forgiven! My earthly Dad was not in my life much as a child so I didn’t fully grasp a Father’s love until God showed me! Unshackled played a big part in that because I learned how God went the “extra mile” to draw souls to His Son, as well as love us as a perfect Heavenly Father despite our rebellious and wandering ways. God’s goodness & mercy encouraged me through listening to Unshackled & now with this handy app I can listen anytime & will donate soon as I can! Thank you PGM & Unshackled for your faithfulness to God’s Word & helping countless thousands throughout the years!🙏🏾

Hi, I am Harrison and I am 14 years old. I am very thankful for Unshackled. I listen to Unshackled whenever I am doing my chores and other work. It is very nice to have some encouragement during these hard times. Often, I have been in tears while listening to these amazing testimonies. New format not as practical as old format

My favorite feature of the old app was listening based on the year. I had been working my way through what used to be very easy to find episodes. It was laid out so nice. Now it's gone. The new format may have a more sleek appearance but isn't as practical anymore - in my opinion. Maybe others will find the new format more useful. I'll check back now and then to see if finding episodes in historical broadcast order is easy again like it used to be on the old app. If not then I understand you have your reasons. I'm grateful I got to experience the old format as long as I did. May God bless your ministry.
