  • Perfect all around PDF tool

    Cwall1957

This application is a BEAST! It handles every imaginable mobile document task you can imagine. We are in the process of moving from the US to Italy. So there is tons and tons of documents that need to move back and forth between Attorneys, consulates, moving companies, foreign utilities etc. it goes on and on. This is the most flexible, features rich PDF tool available hands down. Moving between Mac, iPad and phone is a dream with the UPDF Cloud. Editing PDFs, converting spreadsheets. Word document contracts, photos very intuitive. So powerful and yes there is a learning curve. But once you understand the tight integration. Wow you’ll have everything you need. Initially I struggled with their cloud functionality as it was sometimes very slow and sluggish. UPDF has been very very good about supporting and updating the product. Cloudless synchronization is now very consistent. I hate rip-off subscriptions, so I don’t use the AI features. I find AI tools in general to be hype anyway. So UPDFs lifetime cost is a super value to me as it goes across all platforms. PERFECT PRODUCT for us.

  • Great mobile pdf app.

    Techlife957

I use a lot of PDF software to annotate site plan maps and UPDF allows me to use my iPad and make edits on the go. Compared to Adobe annotations UPDF handles large amounts of annotations surprisingly well on the iPad. I have an iPad 6th gen and it’s been abused a lot so it runs slow and lags out on occasions but I am very interested to try UPDF on desktop and if I can get my job to agree to it maybe buying a license for my work PC. Highly recommend and I love the feature on the free version but I will definitely be getting The paid version so then I can use cloud space to be able to transition between devices easily as well. Only issue I have encountered is when editing a PDF of my tablet crashes no info was saved unless you manually save it periodically. Maybe this is different with cloud storage space. If so then great but if not I would definitely like the ability for the pdf software to make saves as edits are made just to not lose any data.

  • Intuitive & Fast!

I recently had the opportunity to try out UPDF. One of the things I appreciated the most about UPDF was how easy it was to use. Unlike some other PDF readers that can be overwhelming with their features and options, UPDF had a straightforward and intuitive interface that made it easy to navigate and find the tools I needed. I also appreciated that UPDF was fast and responsive, which made it easy to open and view PDFs without any lag or delays. Its intuitive interface and fast performance make it a standout product in a crowded market, and I'm excited to continue using it in the future.

  • Ridiculous cash-grab

    Read The Recent Reviews!!

The app is basically a disappointing preview that may trick you into accomplishing something— just for you to realize none of your progress mattered unless you pay for it. You can’t save, download, or export your progress; many of the features will be missing; any amount of work you’ve done will be automatically erased if you minimize the app for long enough (maybe 20 minutes… think, a phone call came in and you had to take it). This app is worthless until you get through their paywall… and even then, I can’t vouch for how much better it may be— as my experience, being consistently disappointed, hasn’t justified paying them a single cent. A lot of incredibly basic features, such as changing the font size after typing into a document, weren’t even options; it’s not promising.

  • This is a great app but the update…

    Crescen Doe 65

The update looks cool but I miss being able to see all the pages from a distance so I can quickly find a specific page in like a textbook with hundreds of pages. Now I have to scroll instead of selecting a page. Any kind of quick navigation feature would be very welcome. The mark up feature needs work as well, the way I usually annotate my pdfs is with the apple pencil but the new markup pen feature doesn’t register brush strokes half the time, I had to start writing in cursive to keep the momentum for when the pen actually works lol, and it’s kind of illegible. I would like it if we could write/draw on the notepad stickers instead of having to type too if possible.

  • Finally an offordable PDF tool to rule them all!!

    Deleted_User_Null

I have searched high and low for years to find the perfect PDF tool that wouldn't cost a monthly fee but yet offered a lifetime option. Well, I finally found it with you UPDF!!!This tool has lived up to all my expectations, and I am happy to say I finally found a PDF tool for life. whether you're looking for a monthly subscription or a lifetime perpetual license UPDF is the perfect tool. I have tried them all, and this is the one for me.Thank you so much to the developers for creating this software, now if I could just find a lifetime AI lol.

  • Effortless PDF Editing - Highly Recommended

    Sam ewing

UPDF has been a game-changer for me when it comes to annotating PDF site plans on the go. The app works smoothly on my iPad, handling large annotations far better than Adobe. I love the cloud feature that allows me to transition between devices seamlessly. The interface is simple, fast, and easy to use, making it a great tool for professionals. My only wish is for automatic saving when editing PDFs on my tablet. Overall, highly recommended and I’m excited to upgrade to the paid version!

  • One star for price alone…

    BradKnowles

Cons:1. Can’t save a file without a watermark, without upgrading to one of their expensive plans.2. They push their annual plans very hard.3. They push their Pro plans very hard.4. They push their AI additions very hard.5. Their editing interface for rotating and cropping is confusing and doesn’t conform to any standards I know of from any other programs.6. Their program seems to have a lot of options for dealing with text, and all their AI features work only with test. But they don’t work very well with scanned images as PDFs.I’ve already spent over $200 on this thing, I finally got the image rotated and cropped the way I want, and it can’t even save a PDF as an image file.Fortunately, there’s a free shortcut you can get to turn a PDF into an image that is saved to your Photos library. Where you can then crop it some more to eliminate all the white background you don’t want.Yes, I’m going to cancel all my subscriptions with this app today. I’ve already paid the money and I can’t get it back, but at least they won’t be charging me anything more. I might try “ILovePDF” instead.

  • Getting better and better

    Honestapps007

I got myself an appsumo deal, and I have to say I didn't regret. However, there are still a lot of room for the improvement. In latest update Developer added signature options, that's good. However don't you think we business people have our own stamp and signature already ready in png or jpg format? You don't have the option to add signature ie stamp from photos for example. That would be much appreciated ( like Acrobat Reader has). When organizing pages there si not option copy-paste page from another file. However I must say they are continuously upgrading app...

  • Good, but syncing is bad

    enelson76

This app has so much potential to be one of the best PDF apps out there. But the syncing is awful. I’ve tried this on their proprietary cloud system and on iCloud, but I have a PDF document that keeps losing it’s bookmarks and place where I left off. Over and over! I keep adding bookmarks back, and leave reading on one device, go to the other, no synced bookmarks, no synced location. But worse, when I got back to my original device, the document opens in the wrong spot AND my bookmarks are gone. This has happened countless times, and makes it unusable for me. I really need this fixed, and if it does get fixed, this will be my permanent PDF app.
