Actually good at the basics. Subscribe to any RSS, Atom, or JSON feed with a URL (or just paste it in - we'll clean it up). Your feeds, your articles, your rules. Add them to folders, browse them together in All Feeds, or go one at a time. We don't care. We support all of it.
Built for people who actually read. Four list styles from lean-and-mean Headline Only to a full Standard and Large view with thumbnails and summaries. Adjustable font sizes. Four font families. Grayscale icons for the chronically understated. Separator lines optional. This is your reader - make it look like yours.
Swipe like you mean it. In the article view, pull up from the bottom to jump to the next article. Pull down from the top to go back. You barely have to lift a finger. Star anything worth keeping. Mark things read without opening them. Swipe left, swipe right - we kept up with all of it.
Stays fresh without you babysitting it. Set a refresh interval and walk away. uRSS fetches your feeds in the background, badges your icon with unread count, and sends you a notification when something new shows up. The clock icon tells you exactly when everything was last checked. Tap it. It's right there.
Organized. Or not. Create groups to bucket your feeds by topic, vibe, or however your brain works. Collapse the ones you're ignoring today. The counts are always there when you're ready. If you want chaos, just don't make any groups. We don't judge.
Your feeds, wherever you go. Import and export OPML so your subscriptions survive phone upgrades, app switches, and the general chaos of life. Your list of feeds is yours - it leaves with you.
For the curious: peek under the hood. Tap the info button in an article to see the raw feed XML, syntax-highlighted and properly formatted. Zoom the font. Share the source. If you don't know what that means, no problem - it's hiding quietly in a corner.
