Overall, the app does what it’s supposed to. I can preview my dash cam, change settings, and view/download video and events. I knocked off one star because the GPS does not work. For all videos, the map simply shows it centered on London, despite the video showing proper coordinates. I took off a second star for the overall poor UI. It’s not very polished, there are a lot of buttons that are vague and unintuitive, and occasionally there are pop ups written in Chinese. For the most part the functionality of the app is there, but it definitely needs some work for a smoother user experience.

Jan 20 update: contact with customer service explained that cigarette lighter charger does not support park mode while ignition is off. One must purchase the OBD 2 power cord to ensure your camera’s surveillance is activated while ignition is off. Cable was ordered and tested. 4 out 5 stars*******Jan 14, 2024: Today I went out to get into my car only to find front driver damage. My car was hit while parked at 4 in the morning. The cam DID NOT pick up the incident, despite the g sensor setting set to 5 and park mode was set for collision at high. There is no incident in the local or sd drive of the camera. The camera is only recording while in driving mode and this failure to do as it should just cost me. Such a waste. *********** Oct 2023 I’ve had the gps installed for a week now and to often I have to reset the actual GPS in order for it to sync with the app in order for me to view, save or do anything with the videos. I follow the on screen instructions to ensure I’m connected to device WiFi but the WiFi does not appear in available WiFi names. Once I do get the app and device to connect, the videos are crisp and clear. I just wished this app would work accordingly. ********

I have cycled through all options in camera settings, there is no way to turn on Wi-Fi. My phone will not connect and will not even find my camera. Also there is no way to see the video unless you upload a new CODEC app that translates video!!??
When I did plug it into my computer I had a difficult time trying different players, I was able to get one to show videos after 3 hours of searching and trying different things. The video took 15 minutes to be prepared by the media player and once it was turned off, in order to replay the video it had to go through the 15 minutes all over to prepare the video.

The advertising and reviews must be fake, because for the money I am completely dissatisfied.
Also, it says in the Owners Manual please do not use SANDISK SD, however It doesn’t say why. My SANDISK SD works fine.

The APP has N4 Pro, but I don’t know if my N4 is the same as the PRO model because it looks different slightly. N4 is not listed along with N4 Pro on the App.

Until things are improved, I cannot recommend this product.
