WHY THIS MATTERS
Competitions require teams to submit a view-only link to their notebook so judges can review it. Because teams don't know in advance which judges will review their work, the link can't be restricted to specific people — which means it can be viewed, forwarded, or leaked by anyone who has it. Notebook URL leaks have happened at real competitions, sometimes exposing a team's strategies and designs to competitors. Some leaks get reported. Many go undetected entirely.
