This is an awesome app! It does everything I need in a countdown timer, and the sound and picture options make it fun and interesting without overcomplicating anything. I also love that you can customize it and add your own photos. The only minor wish I have is for a few more app icon choices, but that’s really just a small nitpick. Overall, it’s a fantastic app, and I’m really happy with it!

Difficult to use, few choices, poor design
Poetamy
Very few options without purchase: 2 animal pictures, 2 tunes, and 2 background choices. There’s no other customization such as ticking instead of music, a different sound than annoying beeping when the timer ends or different celebration action than the lame confetti shapes. It’s also a pain to use. You can’t just input any amount of time, you have to choose an amount of time within the options given or count up or down by 5 second increments with the forward or back buttons. Purchase gives you more background choices, more tune choices, and more photo reveal choices, including using your own photos- no other features that I can see. The free version is nearly useless, and the paid version is not much better. This is not a visual timer I would ever buy, and I’m deleting the free version. Not worth the space on my device.
It is a pretty good app with one annoying feature

I work at an early childhood center. The children love picking out pictures and watching the pictures emerge as they wait for their turn or break to be over. They actually will be willing to ask for the timer to have their turn, rather than fight over it. The only annoying aspect is that when you set a certain time for the timer. You need to manually put it to that time rather than it automatically starting at the designated time with the picture covered. So that makes it hard if you want to keep the chosen picture a secret from the children.

Love the custom pictures that are covered by the timer. The kids keep looking up at the timer and being aware of how much time is left because they love to see what custom random picture is hiding behind the timer. As the timer slowly counts down, small portions of the picture are revealed until the end when it goes off and the entire picture is displayed.
