VixxoLink mobile app is used by technicians completing work for Vixxo customers. The app allows technicians to time-in and time-out, assess the work that needs to be done, document it efficiently, and capture customer sign off. This app streamlines: • Job site check-in, using location data to allow for one-touch time-in • Searching and reviewing Service Requests • Documenting work performed, including adding photos • Searching for and selecting assets, parts used, and actions taken on the job • Capturing job resolution details and customer sign-off • Offline support After installation, please ensure the app is granted location permissions to enable time-in and time-out. *** Access to VixxoLink mobile app is managed by your Service Provider back office. Such a poorly designed app for a company that demands so much. If you want everything filled out perfectly how about investing in an app that doesn’t crash every 10 seconds.

Every time Vixxo seems to solve their issues they seem to turn around and shoot themselves in the foot. It’s almost like they don’t even want us to actually submit anything. It used to crash if you were out of the app for too long (still does but much less) now god forbid I have to upload more than 7 pictures. Then it crashes wipes out all my info and I get to start again and pray to every god that this time it won’t crash. My most recent crash has now left my call suspended in a constant attempt to upload(not even sure why I hadn’t hit submit it crashed when I hit save on the 10th picture) so now I get to call their customer support line and talk to someone with a terrible phone connection and a rudimentary grasp on the English language while I attempt to explain and give them part numbers for everything I’ve done. Increasing my call time and bill. Good luck go with a different app or company. Every time they get their act together they fall on their face with the next step. Completely incapable of putting one foot in front of the other. Oh and good luck giving detailed notes with their character limit that we’ve talked to the developer about and they still do nothing to increase or remove that feature.

Since switching from myfsn I’ve had repeated issues with this app. Whether it’s related to bugs, or just inconveniences caused by the design flaws of the app. I can never actually log in to calls. Repeatedly tells me I’m not on site. Has limited type count for resolution space which is a very significant area for pertinent information. Once you type past a certain point you can’t even see what you’re typing anyway. App was confusing to navigate from the beginning, and is over complicated. Myfsn was simple, fast, and tech friendly.

Now, the only issues are as follows :Resolution notes disappear if you switch between apps, like checking your parts PDF and switching back to the app. This needs to be fixed as it’s incredibly inconvenient to loose all that data. Workaround is to type your resolution in notes and just copy/paste. Another issue is that you run out of space in resolution notes. Often times I’m dealing with a complex problem and solution and there is really no valid reason to limit how in depth a tech wants to go with notes. Team Leads like seeing it, customer appreciates it and if there is another tech working on the unit after you, it’s pretty great having thorough notes. Also, refresh needs to be improved. Sometimes you’re twiddling your thumbs waiting for the screen to refresh. In reality, we need it to be near instantaneous as anything else is a waste of time.
