Turn speech into text in 25 languages. Record, follow live drafts, edit your notes and translate on your device after language setup. Capture an idea, transcribe a conversation or turn an audio file into editable notes. Voice Transcript processes speech on your device and keeps the original recording alongside its text. RECORD AND TRANSCRIBE • Recognize speech automatically in 25 languages, including Ukrainian and English. • Follow live transcription drafts while recording, with the timer and Stop button always within reach. • Stop recording to produce a final transcript from the full audio. • Import audio or extract speech from a video or screen recording saved in Files. TRANSLATE ON YOUR DEVICE • Translate saved transcripts with Apple Translation on supported systems. • Enable live translation to follow translated drafts during recording. • Choose the source and target languages and see whether a pair is ready offline or needs optional setup. • Keep both the original transcript and its translation. KEEP YOUR NOTES ORGANIZED • Rename recordings, edit transcripts and see each recording's duration and file size. • Expand the text you need and collapse older recordings. • Select individual recordings or select all to delete them together. • Copy or share text when you choose. YOUR LANGUAGE, YOUR DEVICE The interface follows your device language, with a visible switch for 25 interface languages. Speech and translation language support are shown separately in the app. SETUP AND PRIVACY Recording works before speech-model setup. Transcription requires a one-time download of approximately 650 MB, plus preparation and recording space. After setup, recognition works offline; audio and transcripts are not uploaded for processing. Model downloads contact Hugging Face. Translation requires iOS 18 or later, a supported language pair and installed Apple language resources; optional downloads may be needed. Supported translation languages vary by system. Live text is a draft and may change. Recognition and translation can make mistakes, especially with noise, names or overlapping speakers. Review important text. Keep the app open during setup and transcription. Speaker labels and audio playback are not included.
