With VW Media Control, you always have the Infotainment system in your hands.

With the VW Media Control app, passengers can interact with the Volkswagen Infotainment system from a connected tablet and vice versa.
For example, parents are able to choose and select, DRM-free movies on a connected tablet with the app. You can even share the same movie with another tablet that has the app in the vehicle.
What’s more, those with the VW Media Control app in the car can stream their favorite DRM-free songs from their compatible smartphone, SD card, or USB drive to make a shared playlist that is as unique as the road-trip or destination itself.
From the app, you can also see your vehicle’s current position, the distance to the destination and the remaining driving time on the display. So the question "Are we there yet?" can be answered within a blink of an eye. When connected to the internet, you can search on your compatible mobile device for locations, an address from an appointment calendar, or the phone book and easily transfer them as the destination to the vehicle’s navigation system. Don't worry - you can control settings from your vehicle’s infotainment system to determine how the VW Media Control app can interact with the system.
This VW Media Control app requires the available "Discover Media" navigation system on the 2018 Atlas SEL Premium.
