I was introduced to this app by a classmate and honestly I don’t know what I would have done without it! I’ve met some of my closest friends on here which is crazy considering it was pretty hard for me to meet new people my first year of college (as a commuter), let alone make friends—but this app really changed the game for me :) Being able to reach out to students who have similar interests made it so easy to find people with not only similar hobbies/ but also was super helpful in finding students with the same major/classes as me. I also love the option where you can post group events/activities that would be even more fun with multiple students!!

As a student at FIU, I know how tough it can be to make new friends especially ones that stick around. Putting myself out there isn’t always easy, and sometimes it feels like I am missing out on everything happening in campus and that’s why Walky has been a game changer for me. It’s helped me meet new people, find out about any events and get involved with clubs I didn’t know existed. The app makes it feel less overwhelming and intimidating to connect with other’s and honestly it has made campus life fun and enjoyable. New friends, joined clubs and many more thanks to Walky.
