Watch facely: iwatch faces 4+

I love watchfacely. I would recommend this app 10 out of 10 because it has a bunch of different styles and wallpapers for you to pick out of and if you can’t find one you like you can create your own from your camera rool.

It’s nothing special. You’re basically downloading whatever combination of watch faces and complications that someone else comes up with but you’re paying these guys a lot of money for the privilege. It says you get 2 free downloads per day but if you’re like me with a series 7 watch then you don’t find anything on the app for you. You can’t filter by series because you have to pay for that. So you guess at which might work and if you guess wrong and you get a message that the face you tried to download isn’t compatible with your watch then guess what? It still counts as 1 download of the 2 permitted per day.

I thought this app would have new and interesting watch faces but it’s nothing more than a message board of whatever combination people come up with. You’ll find a ton of duplicates on here too.

It’s not worth the price and more importantly it’s not worth the hassle just to review a bunch of watch faces with an irritating number of duplicate faces that might be different by one complication yet the rest of the face is exactly the same as the other 500 submissions, each submission having some teeny tiny difference. I won’t waste my time on that.

This might be partially on me but I paid the one time $10 fee just to use the Casio face…. The thing is its just a photo. Basically a wallpaper for your watch face. The image of the time doesn’t even change so instead there’s just a second functional time window and a static one. Also only allows two additional complications.

It’s just way too much money for nothing special. The more useful faces are just modified apple faces you might be too lazy to make yourself.

I’m really annoyed at myself for spending the money but hey, live and learn I guess.
