What's New in 1.3 • Conjugation panel on iPhone: see every verb and adjective form (dictionary, polite, te-form, ta-form, negatives, and N4+ potential) right in the card detail view. • Card-type breakdown bars on iPhone Stats now use the same 4-tier style (mastered / studying / struggling / unstudied) as the JLPT level bars. • Watch study history is now restored after reinstalling the Watch app — your 30-day window and recent-stats weighting come back from your iPhone automatically. • Expanded part-of-speech labels (na-adjective, adverb, expression, and more) on the Watch back face. • Stability: fixes for a rare second-launch freeze and a safe-mode recovery path if the Watch app ever hits a crash loop.

Kanji detail gets smarter: vocabulary cards now show the kanji they contain, and kanji cards list the vocabulary that uses them — so you can study connections, not just isolated characters. A new romaji toggle lets you show or hide pronunciation above kanji in the card browser, useful whether you're drilling or just browsing. The preferred kanji reading is now highlighted in browse rows and on the detail screen, and card detail text is larger for easier reading of dense entries. Bug fixes: watch statistics totals and watch-to-phone sync now recover correctly after reinstalling the watch app.

Swipe gestures: switch to swipe input on the Watch — right for hit, left for miss. Useful if the buttons crowd your card back on smaller models. Toggle it in iOS Settings; taps remain the default. Portuguese and Spanish: all 6,300+ card meanings are now available in Portuguese (PT-BR) and Spanish. The Watch and iOS interfaces are fully localized in both languages. Pick your language in iOS Settings and your Watch updates automatically. Configurable mastery thresholds: the 90% accuracy / 10-attempt mastery bar is now adjustable. Set your own accuracy cutoffs, minimum attempts, and review window (7–90 days) in iOS Settings. Changes sync to your Watch. Browse redesign: the iOS Browse tab now organizes cards by type — Kanji, Vocabulary, Kana, Counters. Each card shows 30-day accuracy, attempt count, and mastery badge. Search supports romaji input and typo-tolerant matching across all languages. Stats and help: level breakdowns expand inline on the progress screen; trend charts pre-filter by card type when you drill in. New Help tab on iOS with onboarding tips and context popovers for each tier and setting.
