Description
The Waxwing Remote app is the main way to control your Waxwing DSP Phono Preamp when playing vinyl records. It lets you adjust gain, turn on Magic, save settings, and adjust for perfect sound.

Fixes the most egregious bugs that can cause resets (i.e. dropped audio for 5 seconds or so).
- New Sort button behavior: a long press re-sorts menu without toggle to linear menu
- New TX output power adjustment in Settings (once Bluetooth -> 1.06)
- Fixes some connection/disconnection logic to prevent lost connection requiring restarting app
- Added Disconnect counter in Settings (shows number of disconnection events during app lifecycle)
- Bluetooth Firmware version 1.06 added for OTA upgrade:
--- Fixes outgoing message overflow crash and reset (5-7 seconds silence)
--- Bluetooth TX power increased 33% for more range; three power settings
--- Downgradable to previous firmware (press and hold gray Update button for 10+ seconds until Waxwing reboots)
--- Fixes Timer assert issue causing occasional reset (5-7 seconds silence) during connection cycles

Easy-to-use app for a great product
The app is the perfect companion for the excellent Waxwing phono preamp. It connected instantly on startup and maintains a reliable connection to the device. It provides easy, intuitive control of the many signal processing features baked into the device, including active click and pop removal during playback, bass management, rumble filtering, choice of mono modes as well as stereo, turntable speed checker, record condition grading, and provides a cumulative total playing time. I’ve been collecting vinyl for decades and now it is sounding better than ever.
