WayLog is a GPS logger application. It records the route taken from the start to the end of the recording. Apple Watch alone can also record movement with GPS. Siri and shortcut are supported! Recording can be started or stopped by voice or NFC tag reading without screen operation. While recording, you can check the route, elapsed time, distance traveled, straight line distance, average speed, and speed at the last recorded time on the screen. It is compatible with Apple Watch, so you can check the distance traveled, average speed, average pace, etc. while recording without taking out your iPhone. At the end of recording, the number of steps taken during the recording time is acquired and recorded. At the end of recording, you can automatically link information such as start point, end point, distance traveled, and average speed to the calendar. You can visually check the changes in distance traveled, speed, and altitude in a graph. Logs can be categorized and managed by tags. Multiple tags can be set for a single log. You can search past logs by specifying the start and end point name or address, the start date and time of the record, the record title, and tags. You can use tabs to switch pages and browse the logs even while recording. All logs can be displayed on one map, or multiple selected logs can be displayed on one map. Export of logs in GPX format is supported. It also supports importing GPX files, so you can import data from other applications. The app does a great job of tracking everything about your trip. My only issue is that I would like to be able to more easily filter by time. I use it for tracking my deliveries and so in a day it produces thousands of time points and there is no way to just look at a certain span of time (like 11:15 - 11:30). So for me it’s a little awkward to use. But I like it otherwise especially the Apple Watch tracking. You should at least give it a go and see if it works for you.
