• Redesigned window: capture and file actions in pill groups, tools in their own tray, and the canvas, side panel, recent captures and status bar as separate cards. New icons for every tool.
• Preferences, Canvas, About, Shortcuts and alerts follow the same style.
• Esc now closes Preferences, About, Shortcuts and the tool pickers.
• At the smallest window size, the empty screen's four actions fit in two columns and the area scrolls instead of cutting off.
• The Canvas toolbar no longer overflows at the default width; in narrow windows its buttons show icons only.
