I’m not one to write reviews for apps but this one really stands out. This app is so simple to use, and monitors your website ALL THE TIME to notify you of any changes. The best part? I happened to download it when the amount of websites I needed was free, and I continue to use it for free. Unlike other complicated apps that can only check in intervals that are way too long for things like restocks, this one picks up changes and monitors so well. Get this app, you won’t be disappointed!

This app works exactly as advertised, definitely give it a try. It will let you know whenever there are any changes made to a web page. It would be nice to be able to edit the page titles since sometimes I watch more than one page with the same title and can’t tell which is which. Also a way to see how often it checks for updates. But this is an excellent tool, well designed.

Simple but needs refresh

I wish there was a more frequent refresh option that didn’t require some sort of automation. I noticed it alerts me about 30 min after a site change has occurred, I need it within a few seconds. Don’t care about the battery, app is running in the background all the time too.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I completely understand why a notification 30 minutes after a change is frustrating when you need to know within seconds. WebWatch relies on iOS Background App Refresh, and iOS decides when background checks run to protect battery life and overall system performance, so the app cannot check continuously or guarantee second-level alerts. I wish this limitation were different, but unfortunately WebWatch may not be the right fit for highly time-sensitive monitoring.Damian

Smart filters let you describe in natural language the types of website changes you want to hear about, and you’ll be notified only about changes that match. After you view the latest changes, they remain available in a collapsed detail section even when later checks find nothing new. WebWatch now offers improved iPad support and support for the new iPhone Duo.
