Scan the QR code at your tournament and follow every round live — pairings, results and standings — plus the full US Chess record of the players you follow. WeChessUp is for the people in the room: the club player between rounds, the parent on the folding chair, the grandparent who drove, the coach with four kids in three sections. Watch a tournament live. Scan the QR code on the table tent and get the pairings, the standings, the wall chart and the entry list, updating by themselves as the round goes on. Tell the app who you are there for and the page becomes about them — their board, their result, their next round. It keeps working on bad venue wifi: the last thing your phone saw stays on screen with an honest note about how old it is. Follow a rated player. Add yourself, a club-mate or your child by name or US Chess ID and see the official record turned into something worth reading — a rating graph, every tournament with what it did to the rating, head-to-head records against every opponent ever faced, and the milestones that are easy to miss: the first time over 1200, the longest winning run, the strongest player beaten. No account is needed to watch a tournament. Adding a player asks for consent first and states exactly what is fetched, from where, and what removing them deletes. Player photos are private to the accounts that follow that player and never appear on a public page. WeChessUp reads the official US Chess Ratings API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by US Chess.
