I purchased a ticket on June 9th for a flight from Damascus to Los Angeles scheduled to depart on June 18th. On June 17th, I contacted wego after Qatar airways canceled my ticket due to the conflict between Iran and Israel. I was told that it would take 3 days to receive a confirmation email and 15–20 days for the refund to be processed.After a week without receiving any confirmation, I called back and was told they would simply refund me within 20 days. I also reached out to them via WhatsApp and received the same response, they kept saying the refund would be issued in 20 days.It has now been 17 days, and when I called again today, I was told the same thing: I would receive the refund in 15–20 days. I requested a written email confirming the refund for documentation purposes, but the representative told me the call was being recorded. I responded that the recording is for their records, not mine, but she continued repeating the same message about the 15–20 day refund timeframe.At this point, I’m not sure what else I can do. I’ve called three times and contacted them on WhatsApp, but I’m still being told the same thing with no written confirmation.
