An Earnest App That Shows Promise
I’m writing this review as a drag performer who was surprised by how clean it looks; considering the tall order it was tasked with. So I’ll list some pros and cons upon my experience with the app.
Pros:
- it’s catching on fast! I was delighted to see how many events, drag artists, and locations were already planned on the app. I even recognized some drag siblings.
- the app design is very pretty and easy to navigate
- it’s astonishingly up to date
Cons:
- it’s geared more towards “queens” and less towards performers (i.e. drag kings, artists, nb, gogo dancers)
- it’s a little buggy (but that can always be fixed)
- there’s no option to add yourself to pre-existing events; so mostly show runners are the ones posting
Love this
It’s giving ease. I used to hate sorting out which night was where and who was playing at which spot. Now I can follow my faves and see what’s poppin any night I want to get out and see my favorite shows. Love it.
A must have app for Drag lovers and fans
I love that I can see upcoming shows on a map that are near me. It’s nice to also be able to easily tip drag queens during their show!
