Wi-Fi Slow Cooker 12+

The app for this slow cooker is horrible. It was never great to begin with, but has gotten worse. I’ve not been able to connect it to my WiFi over the last couple of years no matter how many times I tried. It just gets stuck during setup. I decided to try again today since I’m using the slow cooker. I reset my password and it won’t take the new password (I know I’m typing it correctly) so I tried to reset again with something a bit shorter. Now every time I open the app it crashes before I can even get to the login screen. The app is not usable which means the WiFi capabilities of the slow cooker are pointless. The slow cooker works fine, but when I bought it, I bought it for the smart home capabilities and I can’t even use it. Definitely don’t recommend.

I use to love this crockpot, Unfortunately I cannot get it to connect to my router/Wi-Fi anymore. It was working one day then quit. Sometimes it will get to the 37% and stop and sometimes I do not even get that far in the set up.
The help center works the same time of day I do so it’s hard for me to have a chance to call them. When I did call them the girl wasn’t as smart as my 9 year old grandson. I had already tried everything she had me do about 3 times. She asked me multiple times if I was using the correct password. Then told me her supervisor would call me the next day. That didn’t happen but I would have been at work anyway and not with my crock pot in my home. So disappointed....I would even purchase a new one if they still sold them. I guess that’s my sign. Therefore, this review is probably useless also.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 14.4. I downloaded the app version 1.3.2, which shows as the latest version as of a month ago.

No matter I do, I cannot get it to connect to even allow for the app to bypass the user and password page. I keep getting the message “There was an error while attempting to sign you on. Please check your internet connection and try again.” My internet is fine, I have cross-checked it with three iPads and my iPhone, and it’s the same message every single time. It’s maddening.

The only thing I can conclude is that it hasn’t actually registered my user. I suspect this is so, as I can register and re-register as many times as I like with the same email. So far I’ve done so exactly 10 times.

I tried ringing the phone number listed at the bottom of the registration email confirmations (of which I received ten), but it’s a phone number that only lists adverts and then promptly hangs up on you. I tried to ring again and press “0,” but then it immediately hangs up.

I hope they fix this oversight. With no way of truly logging in, I’ve no way to use this new crockpot as I intended!
