Description

Windora adds a virtual window wherever you are. Work or relax while looking out over panoramas from your library.

Upgrade to get more features: Multiple windows, larger windows, weather, spatial sounds, window types, timed image rotation

What’s New

Version 1.1

Some minor fixes:

- Auto-hide the bottom bar
- Open the settings window to settings tab if an image has already been chosen
- Try to prevent "blown out" images by converting the color space
- Try fixing the issue of an empty window when re-opening the app
- Added a setting to show all panoramas in library regardless of aspect ratio

Potential & cool idea but for paid version needs more work

Idea is nice to use Vision Pro to be in a custom mixed reality immersive environment. Paid version feels like its missing some basic things and I did not find a way to do them. The ability to adjust each window size individually, ability to hide the grab bar on the bottom as it takes away from immersive feel, a micro adjustment feature with arrows function to adjust windows size, angles, rotation etc for OCD people, skylight frames for ceilings, ability to add different pictures so you could add a sky to the skylight or even stars to the skylight, weather mode seems to also be inside not just outside, have not found a way to add more panoramic pictures to the app? Maybe some kind of better controls to add pictures easier. It would be cool to have other effects besides snow and rain like lightning to go along with a thunderstorm sound effect, maybe something adventurous like a tropical storm effect. Maybe a dynamic lighting effect layer. I know probably easier said than done but would be cool.

Pretty good but needs refinement

Multiple windows look onto the same panorama. Should be able to select different panoramas for each window. Images seem brighter than original, would be nice to be able to adjust brightness. Window types are very limited. Would be nice to have wood frames without obscuring lattices as options. Would be nice to be able to select spatial pictures for true 3d windows.

Finally a GREAT Window App!

I’ve been downloading these types of apps since buying my Vision Pro and most of them are so bad I don’t want them for free. I’ve seen nothing close to this one.
1. The images provided are fantastic quality. Of course you can use your own too.
2. The adjustments are amazing and the only app I’ve seen with anything like it. You can adjust the angle you’re viewing through the window, the aspect ratio, and more. You can even walk to the window and increase your view just as you can with a real window.
3. Once you put a window up in a room, you can then change the image to see what you like, whereas many of these apps you have to keep closing the window in the app to choose another one.
4. The paid version has even more cool features.
Note for developers. It would be cool if in the future windows could be very short repeating videos of “live views”, i.e. a forest with leaves gently moving in the trees.
Thanks for the great app!

Developer Response ,

If I find a great source of panoramic videos I would love to add that. Glad you like the app.
