WHAT YOU CAN DO • Add windows step by step: room, width, height, style (double hung, casement, sliding, fixed and more), frame material (vinyl, wood, composite, fiberglass) and quantity. • See an installed-price range for each window and a total for your whole project. Every number is clearly labeled as a general range, not a quote. • Download a PDF of your whole project to keep or share with contractors. • Get AI-generated energy tips and material comparisons for your window size and ZIP code. • Follow the built-in measuring guide using a tape measure or your phone's measure app. • Report what you paid for a past window project. Reports are anonymous, aren't linked to your account, and installer names are never shown publicly. • See what homeowners near you paid once enough people have reported. We only show combined numbers (median and typical range) for an area after at least 8 homeowner reports. • Request quotes: invite a contractor you'd like to work with, with business-name suggestions from Google Maps, or ask the WindowPriceWizard team to follow up personally. HOW THE ESTIMATES WORK Our starting prices come from real installed contract prices for replacement windows in New York's Capital Region, adjusted for size (united inches), style and material. As homeowners in an area report what they paid, local prices replace the general range there. Prices vary by region, product line and installation details, so always get more than one quote. FREE FOR HOMEOWNERS WindowPriceWizard is free for homeowners, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. A free account (just an email and password) saves your projects.
