Wipr Is the most effective and trouble free ad blocker I've ever used. It also blocks other annoying things such as cookie announcements. In many cases, it's not detected as an ad blocker, so you can often visit a site without having to turn it off. It will make your web browsing faster and more secure. One of the features I like best is that it requires no configuration. You install it and that's it. It just works and automatically updates in the background. If you need full access to a site, including ads, it's very easy to turn off in Safari. The developer accepts feedback, which clearly shows in the product. I've tested Wipr with a variety ad block test websites and it always scores 100%. When you use Wipr with Safari's "hide ip" and "block crossite tracking," you will have a very secure web browsing experience. Turn on "Private Relay" (a free Apple proxy server) to add an additional layer. On a public network, use a VPN to encrypt all your network traffic. Wipr works flawlessly with all of these.I just wish it was available for Windows as well. Great product and absolutely worth the purchase price.

I am incredibly pleased with this App. Only hiccup I encountered was trying to turn it on after downloading. It took some investigating but I figured it out. For an IPhone you may encounter this issue where toggle to turn on Wipr is greyed out. If so go to screen time settings and restrictions- content restrictions- and change internet content filter to unrestricted access. Then you will be able to turn on toggles to authorize Wipr.Afterwards you can go back into screen time settings and content restrictions and turn back on your desired content filter for browsing. Hope this is helpful. Final note, I was using Norton Ad Blocker prior to this and I found theirs annoying that it still displayed empty screen space where ads were but just didn’t show content. Seemed to limit loading speed of images. I love Wipr in comparison. Not wasting time loading empty squares on your screen. Browsing is much quicker. And I have terrible service reception where I live.

save your money. honestly who is writing these incredible 5 star reviews? in my experience running through every possible search result, FAQ and solve imaginable, this “premium” ad blocker misses the most obvious of banners at the top of nearly every website and has not once stopped a full pop up from overtaking my screen. even worse is that it offers nothing in terms of user rules or element selection blocking within the browser or app. just useless instructions and marginal results. only gave it 2 stars because it blocks some ads but i still see 90% or more after testing multiple pages and multiple ad types. at this point i’m just resigning myself to the fact that mobile ad blocking will never function on the level of pc ad blocking. again don’t waste your money here

The 3 stars are because I don’t know yet if I’m doing something or it’s the app’s fault. And I don’t know because I’ve had no response to my plea for help. I’ve done everything requested (as per app instructions) of me in trying to fix this and nothing, nada, ingenting, zilch … I’m so depressed at this point. This is the straw that has broken the camel’s back. One piece of tech after another is just flawed. It’s all crap and there’s no way around it. But you try anyway, you go online to find solutions and half way through the process the instructions tell you to go to a particular setting in the drop down menu and it doesn’t exist. Nothing is beautifully built, nothing works, fonts in pale grey can’t be read. I give up.
