WireView uses the built-in device mirroring technology—the same system QuickTime Player uses—so your captures are always pixel-perfect.

- New: Cropping and capture regions. Has this ever happened to you? You just wanna capture a g dang tiny detail but you have to record the whole darn tootin screen! NO MORE. Hit Command+K in the main window.
- New: Capturing and recording screens plays the system default sound effects for feedback. This can be disabled in WireView settings or, alternatively, by removing your ears from your body.
- New: Capturing will flash the device preview as additional feedback. This cannot be disabled for now, but share feedback if this bugs you enough to the point where you need a toggle.
- New: If you live on the edge, you can now join the WireView beta program from settings. If you’re living on the edge and you don’t care for it, you can go back to the stable build from settings now, too.
Known issues:
- Translation is not complete for the new features.
- Privacy permission strings are not translated, either.
- Sometimes, the app will lock up when quitting and you’ll have to force quit.
