Much Improved Interface & Utilization

Everything about this app has been dramatically improved over its original incarnation. This version is easier to navigate, identify, and utilize at your local market. Its new visual appeal is more intuitive than its predecessor, and the extensive database is now more comprehensive, offering instant, science-backed analysis of your food choices. The new app has a more encompassing database than any other app in the Health & Fitness category. If you’re looking to eat clean and a lot healthier, this is the app to use. With a few more tweaks here and there (such as manual input for food items without barcodes), this app will be the premier choice for the health-conscious shopper. When shopping for yourself or the family, “don’t check out without checking in with Wisecode.”

I honestly can’t believe I went this long without this app. I’ve tried others but they just give you a pass/fail with no explanation, this one actually tells you why. You can see every ingredient broken down, what it is, and how it’s classified. I finally feel like I understand what I’m putting in my cart. If you care about what your family is eating, just download it. It’s that good.

I never believed that all processed foods are bad for me, but I know that some are. This is the first app I’ve found that shows me the difference. An improvement would be including the nutrition information or some way of telling me how nutritious the food really is. I know the app is just for processing level, and it is great for that, but it would be nice to get some nutrition info too.

You may have a general idea of certain things being better or worse for you but seeing just HOW much worse some things are has been surprising and a bit of a wake up call. It’s helped me enforce changes in my diet that I’ve been trying to make. Also, I was surprised to see that some of the in store brands are far less processed / healthier than their competition.
