Word Search: Guess The Phrase‪!‬ 4+

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while and love it! For the past couple weeks, after I play one round, usually after the daily puzzle, the screen goes black and I can’t get it to restart. Getting out and back in, doesn’t help. I usually just quit & try the next day.
I finally just quit playing 4-5 days ago. Thought I’d try again today, with the same results. I thought maybe I’d try to delete the app & reload. That’s when I saw other complaints. I have an Ipad, probably 3 yrs old. I have 6 other MobilityWare apps that I play every day with no problems. Help!

Update: I was disappointed to see a form letter-type response to my review. There doesn’t seem to be any plan in place, or being developed, to address this issue. Guys, how difficult can it be to address a user’s legitimate problem or suggestion specifically? You aren’t having to deal with a lot of them every day. Take 10-30 minutes each day and make your customers feel valued with a response addressing their specific review. Repeatedly using identical form letters to respond to your customers makes them feel demeaned and unappreciated, and I felt like I had just been brushed off and dismissed. So, I’m going to “dismiss” (read “delete”) this game.

When I saw this in the App Store, I thought, “Finally! A word game that is substantially different than the others!” And it is! Gameplay is unlike any other word game I’ve found. It’s enjoyable, if not particularly challenging. My problem with this game are the liberties taken with the words and phrases used as answers to the puzzle. I’m not sure where the creators of the individual puzzles are from, but often the answer has little to no connection to the stated category. With a little care and creativity, this game can make sense in addition to being quite a bit more challenging.

I like the game itself. Fun and interesting puzzles. Even with the more obscure titles, I can usually guess correctly within the bonus limit.

While there are advertising videos, they typically play between rounds; or in the middle of a round only when you’ve left the app for some reason. And the ads usually may be fast- forwarded (cut short) after a few seconds; you rarely have to sit through a 30 second ad.

Three is a serious bug, though. More often than not after an ad plays, the screen goes dark instead of going back to the game. And when I say “more often than not” I mean it quite literally; more than half the time you won’t be returned to the next game after watching the ad. You have to close the app and reopen it; not that it’s too terrible a chore, but it does get quite annoying.
