Paid version so worth it

I love how simple and uncluttered this game is and hope they never start adding silly clutter and making the game more annoying. I ditched all of the other Scrabble-type apps for that reason, and invested in the paid version of WordFeud as soon as I saw how good it was. In-app ads that slow down game momentum and waste my time are super aggravating, but I also think the developers have earned my thanks in cash. I get so much enjoyment and relaxation from this app — and it’s a fraction of what I spent on my last annoying trip to the dry cleaner. Thank you for making such a straightforward, streamlined app.

That said, the new animations when pulling a tile were unnecessary and I hope are not a sign that the devs are looking for ways to “enhance” a near-perfect app whose distinguishing feature is that it’s so minimalist. Don’t go down that road, PLEASE, I beg you.

This is the first app to ever get me to get so embarrassingly passionate about something seemingly frivolous. But part of the appeal of the app is the lack of interruptions and delays on the paid version. It’s a lot less relaxing when worthless bells and whistles start initiating stops in game play. Knocks you right out of “the zone” and makes the game a lot less of a refuge for the player. The mind really needs ways to get into flow and this game is a perfect example of an app that delivers just that.

Playing since 2015 in the 10-people Team and half of the Team is the "oldies" who started years ago also. This game helped me not to fall into deep depression when i had bad health issues and things generally falling apart in my life. The Game helped me to stay sane, literally. There are some glitches occasionally, and the rules tightened up, the rewards are smaller now, but the voices of Jack Kogan and Gary Snead and other commentators are solid there, supporting the players and urging us not to quit. So we are pushing on, Warriors of this Game, The Warriors Who always Win - we always get the 5-th Tier rewards inclusive and try to get the couple better players into our team because couple of them come and slack, hoping to get rewards at the expense of the Team's common efforts: this Game also helps to learn and respect TeamWork - supporting each other and making tasks simpler by performing at our best, it is great! Thank YOU to all and everyone who created and monitors the Game!

Best of the Word Games

I've been a Scrabble player for many years and and thought that when it came time to play online that I would be playing the official game as well. Unfortunately the online game had a few shortcomings so I tried Words With Friends, but that came up even shorter. Too time consuming waiting for all the cute little graphics and sound effects. Then someone told me about Wordfeud and I have been hooked ever since. Going on 7 years. I've been playing with one opponent for almost 6 of those years.. I've also joined the Wordfeud League of Honor which is international tournament play with a new season beginning every 2 weeks. They offer the tournaments in other languages as well.
My only problem with the game is that I can't quit playing. If you are a Wordsmith or think you are, then this game is for you.
