-I use it every day. It's simple and does everything I need it too. I have a different kind of pay period and I can adjust everything in settings to fit exactly what I need. -However I would like to have the option to put a job name. I use the notes to put the job name and that works well enough. I go to different houses frequently for work and it would be nice to group the same name if projects together and add up those hours collectively. -Almost perfectUPDATE- Could you set a new feature? I use notes to track different job names but have to tally up the hours each manually. for example I work at one job but within we go to several houses. Could you make it so you can have total hours for each different client along side the total hours?

Thanks for using Work Log and for the feedback!I see how being able to enter custom pay periods for every pay period would be useful for people in situations like yours. I'm going to look into making that possible in a future update.A potential way to make your situation a little easier until then could be to set your pay period in the settings to be a specific number of days long depending on your current pay period. Then on your next period you can set the number of days in the settings to what your new pay period is. I know that's still not ideal, so I'll be sure to look into making it more customizable in the future.Feel free to email me at ARProductionsDev@gmail.com if you'd like help with that or if you have any questions at all.Sincerely,Andrew
Best time-log-work companion app!!

I wanted to find a quick way to track my work hours, plus tips, and other expenses at my bar and grill. I see the payment app my restaurant uses to estimate the pay outcome, is quite limited and faulty for calculating our estimated pay (not our actual pay). It will leave us waiting until our payday to find out. This app, solves that mistake in every customizable way. I love being able to have the accountability when I am or not at work, feeling always at ease. I didn't start paying for the app until I started working as a server (most days) and as a kitchen helper (occasionally). My .99 was well spent!!! Get it!
Long-Time User Experiencing Unexpected Shift Scheduling Issues
DeTAYL.
I’ve used this app for about 10 years without any issues until now. I’ve always recommended it to my coworkers, who also love it. However, we are all experiencing a similar problem. When trying to create a new shift, I can’t edit the total hours without the app automatically adjusting the start time to a different time than what I entered. I’ve never encountered an issue like this before, and I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. Aside from this, the app has worked perfectly across all my devices for years.

Thanks so much for being a long time Work Log user, for the kind words, and for recommending Work Log to your coworkers! The behaviour of moving the start time when editing a total shift time has been that way since I first designed it. Since when adjusting the total time of a shift, either the beginning or the end has to be adjusted, otherwise the math wouldn't workout from start to the end of the shift. When entering the total for a new shift I designed it to move the start time, since I figure most of the time we're entering in our total hours at the end of a shift. For that reason I recommend setting the end time of your shift first, then entering the total, and the start would automatically adjust to the correct time. Maybe that's an option I could offer in a future update? Feel free to email me at ARProductionsDev@gmail.com to let me know how you'd prefer for it to behave when editing a total shift time and I would love to get your feedback. Thanks again for the support!Sincerely,Andrew
Honesty Prevails Review

This app is great for personally keeping up with your work schedule and time sheet. Keeping everything easily organized from punch in punch out times and travel mileage. It helps when any errors have occurred with pay. It’s also makes things a lot more manageable when it comes tax time for reimbursement for mileage. All you have to do is make sure you keep up with your shifts and mileage and keep up with your gas receipts. Write offs made simple. Timesheets made simple- Honesty Prevails
- Important: Premium Hours with selected days but no time range now apply all day. Review your settings if you previously left the times blank.
- New: Add and edit shifts from Work Log - Dashboard.
- Improved currency formatting. Open General Settings to select the format that’s right for you.
- Significantly faster startup.
- Other small bug fixes and UI improvements.
