Wridz just launched in Minneapolis, so I gave it a shot. I was quoted a little over half the cost of the same ride by Lyft and booked the trip. Wait was under ten minutes and the driver was great. It was his first day, but he appreciated that he keeps more of the ride cost than from the big two. I also like that the app shows how much of the fare the driver gets.I’ll definitely use this again.

With my traveling job I typically use Uber and Lyft to and from the airport. One of the Lyft drivers actually introduced me to the app because she works for them. I tried it because she has been nothing but a saint every time I ride with her.My first time using the application I applied my Amex and requested the ride, before we left the airport the ride stated my fair would be 30+ dollars. Fast forward to me arriving home, settling in, checking in with my family. Maybe 40 minutes after being home, I notice its showering I am still in this ride. I immediately contacted support and the driver, i did realize I had a missed call from her. She stated the app would not let me out of my ride. I informed her that I noticed the same and I already contacted support, she apologized and let me know it would be sorted out. The contact with “Support” went on for over a MONTH with no resolution. I reached out a few times due to their lack of communication. In the end I was stuck with a $60+ charge that should’ve been $30.

I would much rather the drivers get a larger chunk here than the other options. It appears they can't go to the airport. So I've tried several times to try to get a ride to a light rail station & it appears no one wants to pick people up unless it's going to certain places. I get it but, it's a service industry. You have to take some rides you don't want. In my case you lose a 50% tip. The last one I just tried to book they actually would've got 100% tip. That's my budget for getting to the airport even if it's through the light rail. Hope it works out but I'm not bothering again. 5th attempt to use in msp. app scanned my card & populated a mysterious experatiom daye & went right to get me a ride that never comes. can i get back to correct my card while i wait n wait? no. can i delete the card? no. does this app have a ton of daya on me now? yes. if you live in the Minneapolis area and need to get anywhere. forget it. I'm surrounded by drivers and no one will come. I do not trust this app

The rides on Wridz are the same price as Uber an Lyft.. This has to be a joke. The difference between Wridz and Uber/Lyft is Wridz do not have a lot of drivers so the wait time to have a driver pick you up is much longer yet they are charging the same price. The owners of this ride share service needs to rethink their marketing strategy. Why would the fee for the rides be the same as Uber and Lyft yet the passengers receive less benefits than if they ordered a Uber or Lyft…lol Does not make any sense. Also there are no promotions for new sign ups or any promotions at all for using Wridz yet with Uber an Lyft they offer new sign up promotions an they offer points promotions after passengers complete rides. After I crossed compared the fees associated with Wridz an Uber/Lyft (which were exactly the same) I immediately deleted my account an removed the app from my phone and I blocked their email address from my email account. This app is laughable at best and a complete waste of my time.
