So Much Potential

Camera is surprisingly competent, the issues I have are with the and it’s lack of features. For one I’d like an option to automatically save to camera roll. But my biggest issue is that I can’t view the live feed without someone ringing the doorbell. I’d like to simply tap a button on the app and be able to see what’s going on at any given time.

Please push an update that will allow this function for the XW1 33-X9 models. I’ll promptly give the app 5 stars and I’m sure many others would once this feature is added.

HORRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY

This app and the products that it uses are absolutely horrible. The app works as if a 2nd grader designed it. If you are lucky you might get it to work 1 out of 10 times you try to look at your camera. You think because you have motion detection on that it will snap a picture of who ever walks in front of your camera NOPE. It waits 30-60 seconds to take a picture long after the person has come and gone. What’s the point of having motion detection and alerts. Every alert I get is either a blank white screen or it’s a picture with nobody there. My advice DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!! I’m so sick of the Chinese ripping people off in this country !!!! U.S. Customers are nothing more than a bottomless piggy to the Chinese. We need to stop giving them our hard earned money that we earn by trading hours days months and years of our lives for!!!!

It works!

Based on the reviews I thought I was scammed, and it didn’t work. Then I unconnected everything and restarted. I used my phone to connect to the doorbell and it worked, notifications popped. Then I shared with my family’s phones and it worked too! Surprising it worked without Bluetooth! You have to have same wifi to it to work. I don’t know why it didn’t work the first time but now I can have a working doorbell!!
