Good but no saved log in
It's a bit cumbersome to have to log into the app every time I use it. Please come up witb a saved log in option.
One of the best tools you can invest in for your restaurant
XtraChef has been an incredible partner to our restaurant. Their document processing is incredibly accurate but that’s skimming the surface.
Not only is that data sanitized and easily exported to the accounting software of your choice; it’s used in internal tools for budgets (departmental), price watching (automatic), contracted pricing, as well as a ton of other tools and reports that show clean and pertinent data on request.
The time savings alone should draw most operator’s attention. Beyond saving time though is where the real value begins for us. Since they do an excellent job during the intake of any documentation, the data in your reports and booking software is clean an accurate. Reporting is only as good as what data you feed it (garbage in, garbage out). With xtrachef our reports are razor sharp and continue that way with little effort on our side.
If you’re on the fence with their offering, just try it. It will totally change your workflow and accuracy for the better.
These tools have been available to the big guys for years. Xtrachef is now bringing it to everyone at an affordable price.
In the past we have used multiple solutions to cobble together what xtrachef accomplishes but it was no where near as accurate, user friendly, or vendor agnostic.
This service/software should be an essential buy for anyone operating in foodservice.
Horrible customer service
Did a couple months with Xtrachef. Their customer service is horrible/barely exists. Attempted to import my invoices and assign sales categories. Anytime I had a question they would just respond with… watch this tutorial video. Often the responses to my questions took a week for them even to respond. Told them I wanted to cancel because I wasn’t getting value out of a software system I couldn’t set up. They promised better support. Nope, still didn’t respond in a week (if at all) to simple questions.
Now, I believe the system is probably worth it, set up properly. If you are a small restaurant owner like myself that’s always busy, you might also find it impossible to learn a whole software suite with little to no support. I gave two stars because I believe the system has value, theoretically.
