「ＹＡＭＡＴＯ 桜井周遊ＡＲガイド」は、桜井市内にある史跡 纒向遺跡、特別史跡山田寺跡、箸墓古墳、藤原京跡などの文化財を解説し、現地での新たな体験を提供するアプリです。
それぞれの文化財の魅力を学芸員が詳しく解説し、ＡＲ(拡張現実)やＶＲ(仮想現実)などのＩＴ技術を使って、かつて存在していた建物を目の前に再現させます。
