Ever wondered how old your house is? YearBuilt tells you when a building was built. Stand outside in daylight, point your iPhone at a house, church, shop or apartment block, and its address appears on the screen. Tap the shutter to see the year it was built, how many years ago that was, and what else happened that year.
When was my house built? How old is that building down the street? YearBuilt answers in seconds, for family homes, historic buildings, downtown landmarks and the shops you pass every day.
HOW IT WORKS
• Aim: YearBuilt uses augmented reality and your location to work out which building you are pointing at, and shows its address or name as you aim.
• Reveal: tap to see the year the building was built, taken from public property records, and a few moments from history in the same year.
• Save: keep the buildings you like in Favorites. They belong to your account, so they follow you to a new phone.

YearBuilt covers buildings in the United States. Some buildings have no public record. When that happens, YearBuilt says so instead of guessing.

PRIVACY
