Great in theory but doesn’t seem to work

I use the app primarily for reservations. I like the idea of reserving a spot so in theory this was a nice add. However, the reservation function has only worked for me maybe 3 times. Sometimes, it shows me classes for the following week and beyond, and won’t let me scroll back to the current week; other times it won’t apply the filters I’ve selected (such as branch); and most often it simply tells me there are no upcoming classes… like, none, at all. I end up having to go to the website. This consistently works for making reservations and when I make a reservation it then shows in my app.

As for the other functions, primarily tracking workouts, they aren’t at all intuitive to me — I have no idea what’s happening. That in mind, plus all the other established ways to track my workouts (Strava, Apple Fitness, etc.) I didn’t put much effort into figuring it out. Would be curious to see how many people are using this but it’s personally of no interest.

So, 2 star rating is for the fact that the one function that I want to use (reservations) rarely works and for the fact that other functions don’t seem to add much value to the Y experience.

Reservations part isn’t great

Not sure what happened but it used to be straightforward to make an aquatics class reservation. I’d click on reservations and a schedule of upcoming events would appear. Easy! Nie, After clicking on reservations, only a few types of events are listed. I have to click through programs, then aquatics, where a video of a swimmer starts playing, have to close that before getting to aquatic class types, then find my class type, then click on a schedule...too many clicks. By the time I get to to right page the class is booked.

Workouts are awful

Building a workout is so complicated in this app. I tried for 20 mins with a friend to figure out what was going on. It’s so overly difficult. Then when you finally complete a workout you have to make sure to hit a check mark or it doesn’t count your activity points. Why not just count them when I say I’ve completed it? Why make it an additional step? Also the workout will appear on no less than 3 different screens within the app so you have no idea which one to go to for what you need. This app could have been so much simpler.
