ZAGG Keyboard 4+

Really needed this to work since on my husbands iPad every search bar auto fills with //// forever. Was hoping this app would detect the problem and fix it, but it did not detect the connected keyboard. I downloaded this app next on my iPad and tried again, but still got the No Keyboard Detected message. Luckily I did not have to pay for this useless app.

I am not sure this app supports older keyboards for 6th gen 9.7 inch ipads. Message says keyboard not connected. There is no information on the Zagg website explicitly stating there is an update for my keyboard and the corporate Zagg number does not answer after 45 mins of being on hold with the auotomated system. I simply called to ask if there are updates for the keyboard. Other than that the keyboard works fine so far. Just don’t expect any customer service when calling the corporate number or any be listed on the website to contact them about your specific model for a software update.

I don’t know what apps everyone else was using, or why they gave this simple app such a poor rating. But I found it to work just as advertised. It detected my device (Zagg Pro Keys). It detected that my firmware was out of date. It downloaded and installed the new firmware. And it provided a status. The whole process took less than 2 minutes. Voila! What more can be asked?
